VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) -- Caleb Green scored 18 and grabbed 13 rebounds, and Andrew Meloy hit two key jumpers in the last 2:35 to lift Oral Roberts over Valparaiso 75-68 Saturday.
Oral Roberts (11-3, 2-0 Mid-Con) trailed 37-32 at halftime and lagged 53-46 early in the second half before Green's layup tied the game at 61-61 with 5:49 left.
Ken Tutt, who finished with 16, made a layup to give the Golden Eagles a two-point lead, but Valparaiso's Ron Howard stole the ball and hit a layup to make it 63-63.
Larry Owens made it 65-63 with another layup, and the Crusaders' Jarryd Loyd responded with a layup of his own to make it 65-65. But Meloy's two jumpers started the Golden Eagles on a 10-3 run to seal the win.
Owens and Jonathan Bluitt added 12 each for Oral Roberts.
Howard scored 24 and Dan Oppland added 23 for the Crusaders (5-9, 1-1).
