CHICAGO (AP) -- Cedrick Banks had 18 points Saturday and Elliott Poole added 14 as Illinois-Chicago beat Penn 57-47.
Banks, who shot 50 percent from the field, also had four assists and four rebounds for the Flames (7-7).
Penn outrebounded Illinois-Chicago 42-29 and was leading by two points at the half, but the Flames pulled away in the final nine minutes of play. Illinois-Chicago outscored their opponents 35-23 in the second half.
Rocky Collum also produced for Illinois-Chicago, scoring 12 points with five assists and three steals.
Tim Begley had 11 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Quakers (4-6), while Jan Fikiel scored 10.
Illinois-Chicago converted 22 Penn turnovers for 18 points.
