COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Amadi McKenzie scored 18 points and converted a three-point play with 11 seconds left as Tennessee Tech beat Southeast Missouri 63-61 on Saturday night.
Ryan Belcher put the Indians (5-8, 0-2 Ohio Valley Conference) up 61-59 with 31 seconds to play before McKenzie's basket and free throw.
With 6.6 seconds left, Southeast Missouri's Terrick Willoughby missed a shot in the paint and Tennessee Tech (7-6, 2-0) got the rebound to seal the game.
Southeast Missouri led 43-28 early in the second half before the Golden Eagles went on a 10-1 run sparked by eight points from Milone Clark, who finished with 10.
Derek Stribling scored 20 points to lead Tennessee Tech.
The Indians' Reggie Golson scored 22 points and Daimon Gonner and Derek Winans added 12 each.
