EL PASO, Texas (AP) -- Jason Williams and Omar Thomas each scored 15 points as UTEP won its ninth straight game by beating Tulsa 105-70 Saturday night.
UTEP (13-2, 3-0 Western Athletic Conference) never trailed and led 48-29 at halftime. The Miners built on their big lead by hitting 19-of-25 shots from the field in the second half.
Tulsa (2-10, 0-4) lost its seventh straight game.
Guilherme Teichmann scored 21 points for the Golden Hurricane. Jarius Glenn and Chris Wallace each added 15 points.
Giovanni St. Amant scored 11 points and Filiberto Rivera had 10 points and seven assists for UTEP, who last lost on Dec. 5 to Texas Tech.
Tulsa shot 35 percent from the floor and were out rebounded 46-26.
