IRVINE, Calif. (AP) -- Guillaume Yango made a 15-foot jumper for Pacific with 3.9 seconds left to give the Tigers a 67-65 victory over UC Irvine Saturday night.
The win was the sixth straight for the Tigers, who remain undefeated in the Big West.
UC Irvine's Darren Fells tied the game at 65 when he made the first of two free throws, but missed the second to set up Yango's game-winner.
Christian Maraker and Johny Gray led Pacific (10-2, 5-0) with 14 points apiece.
Aaron Fitzgerald led all scorers with 19 points for UC Irvine (6-5, 1-3), and Fells had a game-high 10 rebounds.
A jumper by Fitzgerald gave the Anteaters a 64-62 lead with 59 seconds left.
Maraker tied the game with a layup with 43 seconds to play, then made one of two free throws with 25 seconds left to give Pacific a 65-64 lead.
Ross Schraeder scored all of his 13 points in the first half for the Anteaters, who led for most of the first half until a 3-pointer by Gray gave Pacific a 35-32 halftime lead.
