KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Mario Moore scored 18 points and Vanderbilt made a school-record 18 3-pointers in an 88-63 win over Tennessee on Saturday.

The Commodores (11-4, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) extended their winning streak to seven games.

The Volunteers (8-6, 1-1) could not stop one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the SEC. Vanderbilt came in averaging a league-high 10.4 3-pointers made per game and was second among SEC teams with a 42.8 percentage from beyond the arc.

Corey Smith added 15 points, Dawid Przybyszewski had 13 and Jason Holwerda 10 for the Commodores, who attempted a season-high 32 3-pointers and outrebounded the Vols 38-28.

Moore was 5-of-12 from beyond the arc, and six Vanderbilt players hit from long range.

The Commodores led from the beginning, but the Vols got as close as eight points twice in the second half. Vanderbilt answered each time with a barrage of 3-pointers.

The Commodores pushed their lead to 15 at the start of the second half after Smith banked in a 3-pointers. Tennessee put together a short 7-0 run to cut it to eight points, and Smith hit a 3 to stop it.

The Vols trimmed it to eight again two minutes later, and Moore and Przybyszewski each made 3-pointers to put Vanderbilt back up 58-44 with 12:07 left.

Vanderbilt led by as many as 16 points in the first half after sinking 8 of 18 3-pointers.

Tennessee cut it to 10 after Major Wingate's dunk with 8:41 left before halftime, but the Commodores made three 3-pointers to push their lead to 30-14 with 6:13 left. The Vols whittled the deficit to 38-28 at halftime after Scooter McFadgon's 3 with 6.7 seconds left.

Vanderbilt double-teamed Tennessee center Brandon Crump, who was 0-of-1 from the field and had no rebounds in the first half. Crump made his first basket three minutes into the second half and finished with seven points.

Tennessee was led in scoring by McFadgon with 17 points, and C.J. Watson had 16.

Vanderbilt led from the beginning _ even before the tipoff.

Tennessee was assessed a technical foul before the game started because a walk-on dunked during pregame warmups.

Moore made the first of two foul shots before the tipoff.
