INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Benito Flores scored 15 points and had nine rebounds to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 57-50 victory over Butler on Saturday as the Bulldogs turned in their worst shooting performance in a half decade.
Butler's Brandon Polk scored 17 points, and the Bulldogs led Wisconsin-Green Bay 23-21 at the half, but the Phoenix went on a 5-0 scoring run midway through the second half to tie the game and then take the lead for good.
The Bulldogs (5-7, 0-2 Horizon League) shot 30.2 percent (16 of 53) from the field. It was Butler's worst shooting performance since a 43-36 win over LaSalle in the 1999 Cable Car Classic when the Bulldogs shot 28.1 percent (16 of 57).
In the final six minutes of the game, Wisconsin-Green Bay (10-3, 3-0) outscored Butler 13-0. The Phoenix shot 39.6 percent (19 for 48).
