CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Dontaye Draper scored 22 points to lead the College of Charleston to an 81-77 victory over Wofford on Saturday.
Bernard Jackson added 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cougars (10-3, 3-0 Southern Conference), who won their seventh game in a row.
Draper's layup with 4:06 left gave the Cougars the lead for good at 69-68. He added another layup and four free throws down the stretch to help seal the win.
Howard Wilkerson scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Wofford (8-6, 1-2). Adrien Borders and Tyler Berg added 17 points apiece for the Terriers, who used a 25-11 run to take the lead at 57-54 with 9:53 remaining.
The teams traded baskets from there until Draper's layup.
