DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) -- Brendan Winters had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds to lift Davidson past Appalachian State 66-63 in a Southern Conference matchup on Tuesday.
Matt McKillop added 14 points and Ian Johnson posted 11 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Wildcats (8-7, 4-0).
Chris McFarland scored 14 points and Noah Brown tallied 11 points and six assists to lead the Mountaineers (6-7, 1-3).
Davidson led 29-23 at the break on 34.5 percent shooting.
Appalachian State has lost four of its last five games against Davidson, including four straight.
