OREM, Utah (AP) -- Ronnie Price scored 23 points to lead Utah Valley State over visiting Texas-Pan American 73-51 Tuesday night.
David Heck scored a career high 20 points to go with 11 rebounds for the Wolverines, while Ben Devoe tied career highs with ten points and eight rebounds off the bench.
Texas-Pan American, still playing without injured scoring leader Sergio Sanchez, lost its sixth consecutive game. Sanchez, averaging 21.6 points per game, broke a bone in his hand earlier in the season.
The Broncs have yet to win a road game this season.
Texas-Pan American was led by Alvaidas Gedminas with ten points and Derrick East scored eight.
Utah Valley State scored ten straight points at the beginning of the second half to take a 42-30 lead and never looked back. The Wolverines led by as many as 25 points in the game.
The Wolverines shot 45 percent from the floor during the game compared to just 37 percent for Texas-Pan American.
