EASTON, Pa. (AP) -- Ibrahim Jaaber scored a career-high 24 points and Tim Begley dished a school-record 13 assists as Penn cruised to a 85-63 win over Lafayette on Tuesday night.
Marcus Harley scored 14 points and Andrei Capusan added 11 to lead Lafayette (5-11).
Eric Osmundson chipped in 20 points for the Quakers (6-7) while Begley, who entered the game as Penn's leading scorer with an average of 13.7 points per game, got his only points of the game on a first-half 3-pointer.
The Quakers closed the first half with an 11-5 run to make the score 47-39 at the break. Their 12-2 run opening the second half gave Penn a 59-41 lead with 13:46 to go, and Lafayette would get no closer than 15 for the rest of the game.
Both teams were hot in the first half, as Penn shot 17-of-33, including 9-of-16 from beyond the 3-point line and the Leopards shot 13-of-24 and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Penn outrebounded the Leopards 41-20 in the game and had 14 steals, including four by Begley.
