STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) -- Rashad Bell scored 19 points, and Boston University never trailed in a 65-47 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday.
Etienne Brower had 17 points for the Terriers (12-5, 6-2 America East), who ended a two-game skid.
Jairus McCollums 13 points topped the Seawolves (7-10, 2-6), while Antwan Hardy added 12 and Cori Spencer 11.
The Terriers jumped out to a 16-5 lead behind Brower's five points, including a pair of free throws to end the run with 11:15 left in the half. Shaun Winn's two foul shots gave the Terriers their biggest lead of the half at 31-15.
Stony Brook opened the second half on a 9-4 run to get within 37-28, but the Terriers gradually pulled away, taking their biggest lead at 60-42 with under 3 minutes remaining.
