LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) -- Tiras Wade scored 21 points to lead Louisiana-Lafayette to a 67-50 win over Florida International on Saturday.
The Ragin' Cajuns led 39-16 at halftime and burst ahead thanks to poor shooting by Florida International, which hit only 6-of-21 in the first half.
In the second, Louisiana-Lafayette (10-7, 4-1 Sun Belt Conference) kept pace with the Golden Panthers who rallied and hit 11-of-23 shots for the half.
Ismael N'Diaye scored 14 points to lead Florida International (7-11, 0-5). Ivan Almonte added 11 points and pulled in eight rebounds.
For ULL, Dwayne Mitchell and Orien Greene each scored 11 points and Brian Hamilton added 10 and got eight rebounds.
Spencer Ford was ejected from the game for a flagrant foul at the 10:48 mark in the first half.
