DOVER, Del. (AP) -- Jahsha Bluntt hit a 10-foot jumper in the final second of overtime, and Aaron Williams scored a career-high 23 points to lead Delaware State past Hampton 66-64 Saturday.
Aaron Fleetwood and Terrance Hunter misfired for Delaware State (6-11, 4-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) in the last five seconds before Bluntt beat the buzzer with a shot from the left side.
Devin Green had 17 points and eight rebounds for Hampton (6-10, 4-3), which shot 63 percent from the floor but missed 10 of 18 free throws.
Delaware State led 31-23 at halftime, but Hampton opened the second half with a 15-0 run. Hampton led 57-55 in regulation before Williams made a driving layup with two seconds left to force overtime.
