BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Jermaine Blackburn scored 19 points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds and Eric Lane added 16 points to lead Boise State to an 80-76 victory over Hawaii Saturday.
Julian Sensley led Hawaii (10-5, 2-5 WAC) with 14 points, all coming in the second half, while Jeff Blackett and Jake Sottos added 13 each.
Boise State (9-9, 3-4) out-rebounded taller Hawaii 42-36 and outscored the Rainbow Warriors inside 38-26.
The Broncos, after shooting 57 percent from the field in the first half, cooled to 27 percent in the second half. They hit just eight field goals, and only one in the last 8 minutes.
The Broncos relied on 14 of 18 shooting from the free throw line to keep their lead and seal the win.
