GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -- Ernest Hassell scored 20 points as Jackson State rallied to win 68-66 over Grambling State on Saturday.
Grambling led 39-30 at halftime after hitting 15-of-40 shots in the first half.
But in the second half, Jackson (7-12, 3-4 Southwestern Athletic Conference) outscored Grambling 38-27, hitting 13-of-31 shots.
Kelly Ross and Charlie White each scored 16 points for Jackson. White also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Grambling (6-8, 3-4) was led by Brion Rush's 19 points while Andre Ratliff added 10 points.
Jackson outrebounded Grambling 43-36 and led in assists with 15 to Grambling's 14. Jackson committed 20 turnovers while Grambling gave the ball over 18 times.
