PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Patrick O'Bryant scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Saturday night as Bradley beat Northern Iowa 71-65.
The Braves (11-5, 4-4 Missouri Valley Conference) won despite not having a field goal over the final 2:52 of the game. Marcellus Sommerville added 16 points and nine rebounds for Bradley, which was 19-of-21 from the free throw line, including 15-of-16 in the second half.
Northern Iowa (13-5, 4-3) got 23 points and nine rebounds from Ben Jacobson. The Panthers shot just 32 percent in the second half and were only 5-for-16 on 3-pointers in the final 20 minutes.
The teams were tied at 34 at the half in a game that saw 10 ties and four lead changes.
