POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Logan Kinghorn scored 22 points, including a late three-point-play, and Idaho State beat Portland State 72-69 Saturday, snapping a six-game losing streak for the Bengals.
Idaho State (7-12, 1-5) became the last team in the Big Sky Conference to win a league game, rallying to beat Portland State (12-6, 4-2) in a sloppy game for both teams.
The Vikings and Bengals combined for 51 turnovers, 52 personal fouls and 70 free-throw attempts.
Seamus Boxley led the Vikings with 23 points and Will Funn had 10 assists for Portland State.
Kinghorn drove for a layup and was fouled with 1:13 left putting the Bengals ahead 70-69. Earlier he made a 3-pointer from deep in the corner to cut Portland State's lead to a point.
The Vikings struggled from the free throw line down the stretch and couldn't hold off the Bengals' rally.
