GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- Thomas Bailey hit a short jump shot with 49 seconds and Corey Lamkin had 26 points and 11 rebounds as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi overcame the ejection of its coach to defeat Northern Colorado 87-81 Saturday night.
Bailey, who scored 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting, broke a 79-79 tie with a jumper in the lane for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (12-6). Josh Ervin and Travis Bailey sealed the game with two free throws in the final minutes.
Islanders coach Ronnie Arrow's ejection came with 13:11 left in the first half when he was hit with his second technical after arguing a no call with referee Kenneth Wilson. Sean Nolen converted the four free throws to put Northern Colorado ahead 21-11. Energized by the ejection, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi battled back to tie it at 24-24 on three straight 3-pointers by Travis Bailey.
The momentum shift lasted until 3-pointers by Matt Kline and Parish Brockman sparked a 10-0 run late in the half to put Northern Colorado up 48-43 at the break.
Brockman led Northern Colorado (5-15) with 18 points.
Texas A&M Corpus Christi erased a halftime deficit and took a 55-54 lead on a layup by Thomas Bailey, then, went up 75-69 with 7:11 left on two 3-pointers by Aaron White. Nolen's 3-pointer with 3:44 remaining tied it at 75 for Northern Colorado.
James Randle's rebound basket tied the game with 1:08 left to go before Bailey's key jump shot.
