LORETTO, Pa. (AP) -- Rahsaan Benton scored 22 points off the bench to lead St. Francis, Pa., to a 63-45 win over struggling Wagner on Saturday and avenge a loss against the Seahawks a week earlier.
Benton, who has scored 72 points in his last three games, hit 4-of-7 3-pointers for St. Francis (9-7, 4-3 Northeast Conference). He had 30 points, including eight 3-pointers, in 89-70 loss to Wagner (2-14, 1-6) on Jan. 15.
The Red Flash led 28-24 early in the second half before pulling away with a 13-2 run.
Wagner trailed by double digits the rest of the game, hampered by 34.6 percent shooting from the field (9-of-26). The Seahawks shot 31 percent (17-of-55) in the game, including 2-of-12 from 3-point range.
Darshan Luckey added 13 points for St. Francis and Jason Osborne had 12.
Mark Porter led Wagner with 13 points, while DeEarnest McLemore added 11.
