CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) Ben Jacobson had 15 points and Eric Coleman 14 _ 12 in the last 10 minutes - as Northern Iowa beat Indiana State 69-61 Wednesday night as the Panthers broke a two-game home losing streak.
Grant Stout had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Erik Crawford 10 points for Northern Iowa (14-6, 5-4 Missouri Valley).
David Moss had a season high 28 points, 26 in the second half, for Indiana State (7-13, 2-7). Amani Daanish had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Trailing 27-22 at halftime, Indiana State started the second half with an 8-2 run, including six points by Moss, to take a 31-29 lead. Coleman, who had sat out with four fouls since five minutes into the game, entered the contest with 10 minutes left and made six points within a minute.
The Sycamores tied the game at 52 with just over five minutes remaining, hitting three free throws, one on a foul and two on a technical. The Panthers' John Little then hit a 3-pointer and Northern Iowa led the rest of the way.
