WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) Corey Cofield scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half as William and Mary picked up its first Colonial Athletic Association win 83-65 over Towson Wednesday night.
Laimis Kisielius and Edwin Ofori Attah had 14 apiece, and Nathan Mann came off the bench to score 10 for William and Mary (5-12, 1-7).
Mike Green scored 16 for Towson (5-13, 2-6), and Lawrence Hamm added another 14.
Two Green free throws made it 64-57 with 6:12 remaining, but that was a close as the Tigers got. Cofield scored 10 points in the remaining six minutes to put the Tribe up by as many as 18 as the clock ran out.
