GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -- Tamarius Brown scored 31 points to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff to a 77-60 victory over Grambling State on Saturday night.
Williams Byrd added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Arkansas-Pine bluff (4-13, 2-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference), which led 38-27 at halftime.
Brion Rush led Grambling (6-9, 3-5), while Marcus Watson added 13 points.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff outshot Grambling from the field, 41 percent to 31 percent.
Jarvis Gunter had 14 rebounds for Arkansas-Pine bluff, which finished with a 53-47 rebounding edge.
