DOVER, Del. -- Jahsha Bluntt scored 17 points to lead Delaware State to a 72-50 win over Florida A&M on Saturday.
He shot 6-for-9 and was 3-for-3 from the free-throw line for the Hornets (8-11, 6-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).
Terrance Hunter and Aaron Williams contributed another 16 points each to Delaware State. Hunter and Williams were both 6-for-7 from the field and added three assists each. Hunter was 3-for-3 from behind the 3-point line.
The score was tied three times in the game, but Florida A&M (5-11, 4-5) never took the lead.
Jon Mason led Florida A&M with nine points. O.J. Sumter and Tony Tate added another eight points.
Delaware State was 26-for-39 from the field, including 8-for-13 from behind the 3-point line. Florida A&M was 18-for-58 from the field.
