ITHACA, N.Y. -- Matt Stehle had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Harvard to a 74-65 win over Cornell Saturday.
The Crimson (7-9, 2-1 Ivy) shot 79 percent from the field in the second half after taking a 31-21 lead at the break. Harvard made 8-of-10 free throws in the final minute to seal the win.
Harvard never trailed after taking a 14-13 lead with 11:47 remaining in the first half. Cornell (6-10, 1-2) got no closer than four in the second half.
Harvard had four other players score in double figures, including Brian Cusworth with 15 points and Jason Norman with 14.
Cornell's Eric Taylor scored 14 points, while David Lisle chipped in 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
