NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Charleston Southern's Chris Moore missed three free throws with a second to go as the Buccaneers lost to North Carolina-Asheville 66-63 on Saturday.
Moore was fouled after faking a defender on a game-tying 3-pointer. The shot rattled around the rim but bounced out.
Brett Warner pulled down the rebound on the last miss to give the Bulldogs (7-12, 4-4 Big South Conference) the win.
Bryan McCullough led North Carolina-Asheville with 16 points, while C.J. Walker has four blocks.
Charleston Southern (7-11, 4-4) was led by Terrell Brown's 20 points. Kurtis Rice added 15 points, and Jovan Jegdic had 11 rebounds and eight points as the Buccaneers have lost four straight.
