BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) -- Raymond Anthony scored a career-high 31 points to lead Lamar past Louisiana-Monroe 78-62 on Saturday night.
Each of Anthony's 15 field goal attempts came from beyond the arc, as the senior hit a career-high eight 3-pointers for Lamar (12-6, 4-3 Southland Conference). His remaining seven points came on the foul line.
Alan Daniels added 14 points for the Cardinals, which boasts the conference's top offense. Lamar trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half before going on a 21-2 run.
Cecil Hood scored 16 points and Daryl Mason had 11 for Louisiana-Monroe (6-12, 0-7). The loss was the eighth straight for the Indians.
