GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Sean Booker scored 16 points as North Carolina A&T beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 74-59 on Saturday in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
N.C. A&T (4-15, 3-5 MEAC) turned the ball over a season-low 11 times, and shot better than 50 percent from the field for the first time in 23 games.
The victory matches the Aggies' win total from the last two seasons combined.
N.C. A&T took their biggest lead of the game three minutes into the second half as a Jeff Alvis layup gave the Aggies a 43-31 lead. Alvis finished with 15 points on 7-for-9 shooting.
Corey Brown led the Fighting Hawks with 16 points, but committed 10 turnovers. Tim Parham added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Maryland-Eastern Shore (1-17, 0-9).
