LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) -- Jerry Johnson had 15 points and six assists to lead Rider past Siena 67-47 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Saturday.
Edwin Muniz also had 15 points for Rider (12-7, 8-2 MAAC), which regained its conference lead with the win. Terrance Mouton added 12 points, all on 3-point field goals.
Both teams had trouble from the floor in the first half, with Siena (3-17, 1-8) hitting only 32 percent of their shots while Rider managed only 30 percent. The Broncs, though, broke the game open with a 14-4 run midway through the second half, including six points by Mouton.
Jack McClinton had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Siena, while Brent Sniezyk added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Saints.
