OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) Mark Tyndale led four double-digit scorers with 18 points to lift Temple to an 87-66 victory over St. Bonaventure Saturday.
The Bonnies have lost seven straight and 29 of their last 31 games since last season.
Temple, which led 41-26 at halftime, used a 13-7 run midway through the second half to go up 77-54. The Owls (9-8) led by as many as 25 points when Chris Clark made a free throw with 1:26 to play.
Temple (9-8) jumped out to an early 12-0 lead to start the game. Keith Butler gave the Owls their biggest lead of the half, 17 points, with a hook shot to put Temple up 31-14 with 4:41 to play.
The Bonnies (1-17) cut the lead to 12, at 41-29, when Patrick Lottin hit a 3-pointer from the right corner to start the second half.
Mardy Collins and Dustin Salisbery scored 17 points apiece for the Owls. Lottin finished with 15 points.
Ahmad Smith scored a game-high 23 points for St. Bonaventure.
