FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- DeEarnest McLemore scored a game-high 17 points to lead Wagner to a 54-43 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday.
Mark Porter added 17 points for Wagner (3-14, 2-6 Northeast Conference) and Sean Munson grabbed 13 rebounds.
The Seahawks shots just 32.6 percent from the floor, but they held Sacred Heart (2-16, 1-8) to its lowest scoring output since it upgraded to Division I in 1999.
McLemore scored 11 of his points in the final 10 minutes. The Seahawks made one field goal in the final 7:10, but still won comfortably.
Sacred Heart's Joey Henley was held scoreless after averaging 29 points for his previous two games. He picked up three first-half fouls and attempted only four shots in 24 minutes.
Mike Parker led the Pioneers with 13 points and nine rebounds.
