EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) -- Lonnie Randolph scored the final four points of overtime for Drake and finished with a team-high 17 to lead the Bulldogs to a come-from-behind 76-72 Missouri Valley Conference victory over Evansville on Saturday.
Evansville (10-11, 4-9) led by 19 points, 58-39, with less than 10 minutes remaining in regulation but gave up 20 of the next 26 points as Drake (8-12, 4-8) pulled within five points, 64-59, on a Pete Eggers layup with 4:12 remaining.
The teams traded baskets, but Evansville scored the final seven points of regulation on a layup by Klayton Krover, Randolph's three-point play and a layup by Aliou Keta to tie the game, 68-68, with two seconds left.
In overtime, the teams were tied 72-72 when Randolph made a layup with 47 secoinds remaining to give Drake the lead for good. His two free throws with 17 seconds left sealed the victory.
Evansville made just 2-of-6 free throws in the second half to let the Bulldogs back into the game and then just 2-of-4 in the overtime. Drake outscored Evansville 26-4 at the free throw line.
Bradley Strickland scored 18 points to lead four Purple Aces scoring in double figures.
Keta added 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for Drake, which dominated the boards 47-31.
