MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Kamarr Davis scored 20 points Saturday and Montana used a 25-2 run in the first half to coast past Idaho State 80-63.
The Grizzlies (12-10, 6-3 Big Sky) sandwiched runs of 9-0 and 16-0 around a basket by Nate Rede _ ISU's only score over a nine-minute period _ and went from a 17-15 lead to a 42-17 lead with 2:43 left in the first half.
Kevin Criswell added 15 points for the Grizzlies, who led 47-22 at halftime.
Logan Kinghorn scored 23 of his 34 points for ISU (8-14, 2-7) in the first half. He made 13-of-24 shots for more than half of his team's points, while the rest of the team made just 11-of-46 shots for 24 percent shooting.
Montana led 75-51 on a basket by Virgil Matthews with 8:10 remaining, but scored just five points the rest of the way. Idaho State could get no closer than 77-63 on a basket by Kinghorn with 1:33 remaining.
John Seyfert had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Grizzlies, who shot 50 percent from the field.
