MILWAUKEE -- Joah Tucker scored 26 points, Ed McCants had 22 and Boo Davis chipped in 20 Saturday as Wisconsin-Milwaukee defeated Illinois-Chicago 85-75.
Milwaukee (17-5, 10-2 Horizon League) led 45-43 at the half. After the break, Illinois-Chicago took the lead 50-47 on a Justin Bowen basket.
But the Panthers responded with an 8-0 run to take the lead for good at 55-50 with 17:14 remaining.
Illinois-Chicago (10-10, 5-5) was led by Cedrick Banks with 29 points. Elliott Poole scored 19 for the Flames while Armond Williams had 18.
Milwaukee has won 10 of their last 11 games.
