RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Nick Fazekas scored 27 points to lead four players in double figures in Nevada's 76-58 victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night.
The win kept Nevada atop the Western Athletic Conference standings and snapped Louisiana Tech's five-game winning streak. The Wolf Pack (16-5, 9-2 WAC) hit its first five shots during a game-opening 13-2 run, and Louisiana Tech (11-9, 6-5) never got closer than six points the rest of the way.
Mo Charlo added 14 points for Nevada, while Jermaine Washington scored 12 points and Kevinn Pinkney had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Paul Millsap had 20 points and eight rebounds for Louisiana Tech.
The Bulldogs made a 10-2 run in the first half to close within six at 30-24, but the Pack responded with a 9-0 run. Nevada's lead never got below nine points the rest of the way.
Nevada shot 51 percent from the field compared to 36 percent for Louisiana Tech.
The Pack also outrebounded the Bulldogs 40-30. Ramon Sessions scored just four points for Nevada, but had nine assists.
