STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) Guillaume Yango scored a game-high 20 points to lead Pacific to its 14th consecutive victory, 87-58 over visiting Long Beach State on Saturday.
Jasko Korajkic scored 14 points and Johnny Gray had 12 off the bench for Pacific, which stretched its Big West Conference winning streak to a school-record 25 games. At 18-2, Pacific is off to the best start in school history.
The Tigers (12-0 Big West) made 66 percent of their shots from the floor and 61.5 percent of their 3-point attempts.
Pacific began the second half with a 7-0 run to build a 30-point bulge and had its biggest lead at 83-48 with four minutes to play.
Onye Ibekwe and Jibril Hodges each scored 12 points to lead Long Beach State (3-18, 1-10).
Shawn Hawkins had 11 points for the 49ers. Long Beach State built a 17-12 lead in first seven minutes, but it didn't last long.
Pacific, making 13 of its first 16 shots from floor, responded with a dominating 29-6 run.
The Tigers then closed the half with a 9-0 spurt to take a 50-27 halftime lead - the most points scored by Pacific in a first half this season.
Pacific made 18 of 24 shots (75 percent) in the first half, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range.
