ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Brandon Trapp scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead South Carolina State over Morgan State 76-55 on Saturday night.
Derrick Davis went 8-of-12 at the free throw line to score 16 points for the Bulldogs (12-9, 5-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who shot 60.5 percent from the field.
The Bears (7-13, 5-5) were led by Aaron Andrews, who scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Karanvir Aujla added 10 points for Morgan State, who was held to just 39.3 percent shooting from the field.
The Bulldogs took a 31-18 halftime lead.
