MONROE, La. (AP) -- Cecil Hood and Aaron Branch each scored 13 points to help Louisiana-Monroe take a 72-67 victory over Nicholls State on Saturday night.
Daryl Mason added 12 points for the Indians (7-12, 1-7 Southland Conference), who led 37-32 at halftime.
The victory was the 400th for Mike Vining as ULM's coach.
Jason Wilkins scored 14 points for Nicholls State (6-15, 1-9), while Willie Depron added 13 points.
Louisiana-Monroe won the rebounding battle 38-34 and shot better from the field, 46 percent to 40 percent.
