INDIANAPOLIS -- Akeem Clark scored 32 points and Brandon Cole added 19 to lead IUPUI to an 85-66 Mid-Continent Conference victory over Southern Utah on Saturday night.
Maushae Byles had three of the Jaguars' 11 steals as IUPUI (11-10, 5-5) forced Southern (10-12, 3-8) into 16 turnovers, converting them into 27 points to just two points off turnovers for the visitors.
Tim Gainey, with 21 points, was Southern's only player scoring in double figures.
IUPUI, which led 47-35 at halftime, made 14-of-26 on 3-point attempts, with Cole hitting 5-of-7, and 53 percent on all field goals (28-of-53) while holding Southern to just 42 percent (22-of-52). Byles added 13 points for IUPUI and George Hill had 11.
