CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -- Travis Bailey scored 26 points as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beat Texas-Pan American 72-70 Saturday night.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (15-6) trailed 41-39 at halftime, but used a 12-2 run early in the second half to take the lead for good.

Ray Castillo scored 19 points off the bench for Texas-Pan American (11-11).

Thomas Bailey added 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Taurean Mitchell had 11 points and five assists.

Eric Montalvo had 11 points and eight rebounds for Texas-Pan American.
