SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- Chris Langhorne tipped in the winning shot with 0.8 seconds left to give Texas State a 75-72 victory over Texas-Arlington on Saturday night.
Langhorne's tip-in completed a rally that saw Texas State (11-9, 5-4 Southland Conference) erase a seven-point deficit in the last 1:26. A technical foul on the Mavericks' bench after the basket let the Bobcats tack on two free throws.
Texas State's Josh Naylor, who scored 21 points, hit two 3-pointers in the final minute to lead the comeback. His last one with 15 seconds remaining pulled the Bobcats within one.
Zach Allison added 19 points for the Bobcats.
Jarrett Howell scored 19 points for Texas-Arlington (10-9, 5-4) and Steven Thomas had 12.
Thomas missed a free throw to set the stage for Langhorne's winning basket.
