WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- Mitch Laue scored 20 to lead North Carolina-Wilmington to an 80-72 win over William & Mary Wednesday in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Beckham Wyrick added 17 points, hitting 5 of 6 field goal attempts and 7 of 9 at the free throw line for the Seahawks (15-7, 10-3 CAA). Halston Lane added 14 points.
William & Mary (5-17, 1-12) is winless in 11 road outings this season.
Laimis Kisielius had 23 points and Corey Cofield 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Tribe, who shot 48.1 percent on the night.
The Seahawks led 34-30 at halftime.
William & Mary cut the deficit to 45-42 on a pair of free throws by Kisielius with 14:34 left before Laue scored five straight points to increase the margin to 50-42 at 12:56.
