DAVIS, Calif. (AP) -- Fowzi Abdelsamad's 19 points led four UC Davis players in double figures as the Aggies beat Cal Poly 85-65 on Saturday night.
Ryan Moore and Thomas Juillerat scored 15 each, and Rommel Marentez added 14 for UC Davis (10-14), who reached its 22-consecutive season of double-digit victories.
Mike Titichenal had 20 points and six rebounds, and Andrew Haskins added 12 for the Mustangs (4-17), who lost their second game of the season to UC Davis.
Tied at seven, UC Davis went on a 15-4 run to lead 24-11 with less than 10 minutes left in the first half.
Cal Poly got within seven points after Mike Titichenal made a basket to make the score 27-20, but the Aggies built up a 16-point margin to finish with a 42-26 halftime lead. UC Davis made seven 3-point shots in the first half.
Cal Poly opened up the second half with a 27-9 run to cut UC Davis lead 51-47 at the 12:54 mark.
The Aggies regained their shooting touch, and then responded with a 12-0 run as the Mustang's shooting went ice cold from the field.
The Mustangs never got closer than eight points, and UC Davis built up a 21-point lead with less than three minutes to go to put the game out of reach.
