BALTIMORE (AP) -- Aaron Andrews scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Morgan State to a 81-65 victory over Howard on Saturday.
He was nine for 13 from the field.
Ronald Timus added another 17 points on five for 8 shooting from the field and seven for eight shooting from the free-throw line for Morgan State (10-13, 7-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Sam Brand contributed 13 more points and was seven for 10 from the free-throw line.
Will Grant led Howard (2-10, 5-16) on 10 for 15 shooting from the field. Derek Mitchell contributed another 11 points.
There were eight lead changes in the first-half and Morgan led 38-35 at halftime. In the second half, Morgan State never trailed, shooting 55.6 percent from the floor
Morgan out-rebounded Howard by a 40-32 margin.
