BALTIMORE (AP) -- Shane James scored 19 points to lead Loyola, Md., over Iona 73-64 on Saturday.
James, who was nine-for-nine from the free-throw line, also had six assists for the Greyhounds (6-17, 4-9 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). It's Loyola's third straight win, a streak the Greyhounds haven't put together since the 1998-1999 season.
Freddie Stanback and Charlie Bell each had 15 points for Loyola, which trailed by two, 36-34, at halftime. Loyola rallied in the second half, shooting 41 percent from the field.
Iona, which shot 44 percent from the field in the first half, shot 36 percent in the second half.
The Gaels (11-13, 7-7 MAAC) were led by Greg Jenkins, who had 22 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Gary Springer added nine points and seven rebounds.
Loyola outrebounded Iona 46 to 31.
In their previous meeting this season, the Gaels beat Loyola 80-71.
