WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Cori Spencer scored 17 points to lead Stony Brook to a 74-60 win over Hartford on Saturday.
The Seawolves (9-14, 4-10 America East) had four players in double figures and completed a two-game sweep of the Hawks (7-16, 3-11) in their regular season series.
Stony Brook jumped out quickly with a 10-2 run and never trailed. The Hawks missed 18 of their first 20 shots and shot just 20 percent in the first half.
Hartford got to within three in the first half but the Seawolves used a 17-2 run to take a 27-9 lead with under 8 minutes to play in the period. Stony Brook shot 55 percent in the first half and led 38-23 at the break.
The Seawolves led by as many as 20 in the second half.
Aaron Cook led Hartford with 23 points and Charles Ford added 14.
