MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) -- Cleve Woodfork scored 16 points and Tennessee-Martin overcame a 17-point second-half deficit to beat Tennessee Tech 59-56 on Saturday.
Tennessee Tech (13-10, 8-4 Ohio Valley Conference) took a 35-18 lead with 18:32 left after Willie Jenkins' 3-pointer and still led 46-30 with 11:35 to play.
But Tennessee-Martin (5-18, 2-10) went on an 18-0 run capped on a three-point play by Aaron Ferrell with 5:42 left. The Golden Eagles tied the game at 48, but never took the lead again.
Trailing 58-56, Jenkins, who finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds, missed a 3-point attempt with 7 seconds left. The Golden Eagles couldn't get a desperation shot off after Will Lewis hit one of two free throws with 2 seconds left for the final margin.
Jared Newson scored 12 points and Justin Smith added 10 for Tennessee-Martin. Tennessee Tech's Derek Stribling scored 11 points.
