BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) -- Corey Hornsby scored 16 points Saturday to help Troy hold off Campbell 60-56.
Jonathan Lee added 14 points for the Trojans (10-15, 8-8 Atlantic Sun Conference), who won despite nearly blowing a 10-point second-half lead and shooting 6-for-27 after the break.
Ruell Pringle scored 17 points for the Camels (2-21, 0-16), who have lost 18 straight games.
Troy shot 57 percent in the first half to build a 42-31 lead at the break, and led 55-45 with 10:31 left. But the Trojans' offense stalled the rest of the way, nearly allowing Campbell to break through for its first league win.
Pringle scored 13 points in the second half, including a pair of 3-pointers that pulled Campbell to 55-51. Bobby Dixon answered with a pull-up jumper to make it 57-51 with 4:38 left, marking Troy's last field goal.
Pringle hit another 3 and a pull-up jumper to close the gap to 57-56, but Campbell couldn't overtake the visitors. Russ Gibson missed a 3 for the lead with 44 seconds left, and Ryan Heck and Eddie Baker went 3-for-4 at the line to seal it in the final 17 seconds.
