PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Lawrence Wright scored a game-high 26 points Saturday, leading Bradley to a 74-68 win over Wichita State.
Wright also pulled down five rebounds for Bradley (12-10, 5-9 Missouri Valley), who trailed 41-37 at halftime. Wichita State (18-4, 11-3) shot 58.3 percent in the first half while holding Bradley to just 43.8 percent from the field.
Improved shooting after the break helped the Braves outscore Wichita 37-27 in the second half.
Marcellus Sommerville had 19 points and five rebounds for Bradley, while Jeremy Crouch had 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Bradley also capitalized on 15 Wichita turnovers, which were converted for 22 points.
Paul Miller paced the Shockers with 16 points and three rebounds. Jamar Howard added 11 points, four rebounds and five assists.
