EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) -- Kyle Anslinger had 18 points, and Lucious Wagner added 17 more to lead Evansville to a 76-66 win over Bradley Wednesday night.
Evansville (11-12, 5-10 Missouri Valley Conference) had a 14-point lead at halftime. But Bradley (12-11, 5-10) was able to chip away in the second half, coming within five points, 69-64, with 48 seconds left.
But the Purple Aces hit 7-of-8 free throws down the stretch to put away the victory.
Also scoring in double digits for Evansville were Andre Burton, who had 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Bradley Strickland, with 11.
Lawrence Wright led the Braves with 18 points, Marcellus Sommerville had 10 points and 11 rebounds, Patrick O'Bryant scored 11, and Tony Bennett added 10 more.
